Biography
Janet obtained an M.A.(Hons) in the History of Art at St. Andrews University in Scotland. She then qualified as a Solicitor and worked in London for a City law firm and an international charity. During those years she could not resist her calling to paint and did a B.A.(Hons) in painting through the OCA with tutor Jane de Sausmarez, supplemented by private courses with Robin Child at his Art Research Centre in Devon.

2020 /21 Royal Ulster Academy ; 139th Annual Exhibition.Ulster Museum, Belfast. Painting ‘Listening for Curlews’ awarded the prestigious Paul Henry Landscape Prize sponsored by Gormley’s Fine Art
2021 The Northern Ireland Civil Service acquired the painting Waltzing Green for their permanent Art Collection.
August 2021 - Awarded Founders Prize at annual Exhibition of Ulster Society of Women Artists at the Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast.
